The ICOT Alpha is our entry level digital hearing aid. It is a comfortable open fit or thin tube behind the ear (BTE) device. The alpha has been pre-configured with three programs that will fit 90-95% of the most common hearing losses that seek amplification. It is thus “self-fitting,” and as such can be purchased independent of a professional fitting agent (audiologist, hearing aid dispenser), thereby reducing cost to the consumer. You will find the sound quality of the alpha to be very natural , warm, and comparable to the highest quality digital hearing aids on the market.
